Help LGBTQ Older Adults Access Health Care

JFS of Metrowest seeks LGBTQ/LGBTQ-friendly volunteers to serve as health care navigators for older adult (60+) LGBTQ Greater Framingham-area residents. Volunteers will transport, provide support throughout the medical appointment process and document medical instructions to facilitate improved access to quality medical care for LGBTQ older adults. A Fenway Health Institute-led volunteer onboarding training will be held at the JFS Framingham office. Volunteers will be provided ongoing supervision and will be reimbursed for program-related mileage.
