In The Last Refugee: Through the closing door (story 1 in an ongoing series) by Jenna Russell, The Boston Globe follows the work of JFS of Metrowest, in partnership with local Jewish organizations and synagogues, Syrian-American and Muslim volunteers, refugee experts, philanthropists and others, in resettling families from Syria that have fled their home country in search of safety and security; parents desperate to find stability and establish a future for their children.

JFS resolutely stands with refugees and immigrants and is proud to partner with these community leaders, volunteers and activists to provide safety, hope and opportunity to Syrian war refugees.
