Results are in for the LGBTQ Jewish Hero of Color poster contest! Keshet’s LGBTQ Jewish Heroes poster series was created to celebrate LGBTQ Jews who have transformed the world through their words and lives. We are proud that hundreds of synagogues, Jewish day schools, JCCs and other Jewish institutions across the United States display our posters on their walls to demonstrate their commitment to LGBTQ equality and visibility.

A transgender rabbinical student, audiologist, musician, dismantler of racism and medical and spiritual healer.
Rabbi Sandra Lawson
The associate chaplain for Jewish life at Elon University and one of the first queer women rabbis of color.
Michael Twitty
A gay Southern award-winning author, chef and Afroculinaria, who seeks food security for all.
Our new heroes join Kate Bornstein, the late Harvey Milk and Lesléa Newman, the groundbreaking activists and luminaries honored in our first poster series.
