Want a rewarding, meaningful volunteer experience unlike any other? Give the invaluable gift of your friendship to a child. In these times of social isolation, your volunteering can have even greater impact.

Volunteer with Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston (JBBBS), whose aim is to transform lives through one-to-one mentoring relationships. JBBBS’ comprehensive mentoring program pairs children aged 6-18 with a caring adult mentor (21-plus) who provides role-modeling, encouragement and friendship. Match pairs meet a couple of hours twice a month, mostly on weekends, and spend time doing activities they mutually enjoy for a minimum of one year. Catch up on a conversation, explore your community, have some fun and make a lasting impact.

During COVID-19, matches meet virtually and in person, only when comfortable, under the Massachusetts and CDC guidelines for social distancing and safety. Volunteers typically provide transportation for their Littles.

Our community includes people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, abilities, races, religions and backgrounds. Mentor training and clinical match support will be provided.
