Do you have a passion for creating artwork that explores Jewish identity? Do you dream of sharing your art with the Greater Boston community?

After (just!) wrapping up an exciting inaugural round, CJP is pleased to announce that we’re now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 Arts and Culture Community Impact Grant Fund. You can access the guidelines and Letter of Intent form here.

As both an investor and a convener, CJP is committed to supporting a rich and vibrant Jewish arts and culture community within Greater Boston. We know that arts and culture can powerfully connect us to Jewishness and to one another; bring us into deep and challenging conversations; and illuminate and preserve Jewish experience and memory. Through this work, we will celebrate, heal, and engage with the world.

We seek to support art that:

  • Embraces the diversity and complexity of Jewish identity, community, and tradition
  • Sparks questions, fosters curiosity, and/or invites communal dialogue on a range of topics, both within the Jewish community and/or across diverse communities
  • Creatively interprets or reinvents Jewish teachings, life, ritual, or tradition

What type of grants are available?

  • $25,000 (one available): This grant will be awarded for a collaborative project led by at least three artists. This collaboration team should include Jewish artists and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) artists and employ multiple artistic mediums.
  • $7,500 grants (10 available): These grants will be awarded to either individual artists or collaborative groups of artists. Artists of all artistic disciplines are encouraged to apply.

The complete Arts and Culture Community Impact Grant Fund requirements for both grant opportunities as well as the Letter of Intent form can be found on our website.
