The Jewish Venture Mentoring Service (JVMS), founded in 2013, is a Brookline nonprofit established to connect Jewish entrepreneurs with mentors—volunteer business professionals from the Jewish community. Our ventures range from those developing an idea to those well along in their product launch cycle. We connect entrepreneurs with appropriate mentors who provide guidance for moving the venture forward. In addition to mentoring services, our programming includes entrepreneurship courses, speakers, networking sessions, mentor meetings and special events such as the Gefilte Fish Bowl, our version of “Shark Tank.” Plus–JVMS services are free, provided in the spirit of tzedakah.
