TELEM programs build the next generation of engaged Jewish citizens by forging a compelling connection between social action and Judaism. TELEM integrates volunteer service with learning and reflection, enabling students to build a habit of service connected to their Jewish identity. TELEM’s goal is to have young people experience volunteerism and social action in positive and meaningful ways and to integrate it into their lives now and in the future.

TELEM is about changing lives—yours and others! Make a difference in someone’s life. Have a real impact on an issue you care about. Learn about yourself. Discover what Judaism has to say about pursuing justice. Hang out with friends. Have fun while you’re helping to build a better world! Spend a few hours providing help to someone, make a positive impact on the community, and participate in tikkun olam.

TELEM is a program of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston.
