On Sunday April 3, the JGSGB Poland SIG (http://jgsgb.org/poland-sig/) will focus on how to use JRI-Poland, the online searchable database of indexes to Jewish Records of Poland.
The Poland Special Interest Group is for JGSGB members interested in their Jewish roots from the European region known as modern day Poland. Its members exchange information, share resources, and help each other advance our genealogical research. At the last Poland SIG meeting the group discussed the pros and cons of software tools for researching and building family trees such as Ancestry, Roots Maker, Family Tree Maker, Reunion, Geni, and My Heritage.
The next JGSGB program is April 3: “Janette Silverman – Two Talks: Ukrainian Research and Online Special Interest Groups (SIGs), 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Info: http://jgsgb.org/event/janette-silverman-ukrainian-research/
