It’s time for some post-election humor. Everyone could use a laugh regardless of how your candidate fared. Election Madness at the JCC this Sunday is the perfect post-Election elixir.

Comedians Jimmy Tingle and Barry Weintraub will skewer the election results in a show called Election Madness on Saturday, November 10 (8pm) at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center in Newton.  Jimmy Tingle is regarded as one of the top social and political humorists in America. He works as a stand-up comic, producer, writer, actor, filmmaker and commentator. A Cambridge native, Tingle’s career includes two seasons with 60 Minutes II on CBS as the humorist/commentator in the Andy Rooney spot. He worked as a contributor and satirist for MSNBC and has appeared on Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, The Tonight Show, Larry King’s Weekend, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The American Comedy Awards, as well as his own HBO comedy special. Weintraub is a New York City comic known for his incisive political commentary.  He has also appeared on Tough Crowd and was the presenter for the BBC documentary, Stars, Stripes and Human Rights.
