Barnet Kessel has served as executive director of the Vilna Shul, Boston’s Center for Jewish Culture, for six years. He brings 24 years of managerial experience and exceptional leadership in the Jewish community. Before coming to the Vilna, Barnet was vice president of commercial products at Mantua Manufacturing Company. Barnet presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Council of American Jewish Museums and has served on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Relations Council, Synagogue Council of Massachusetts and Combined Jewish Philanthropies. He holds a B.S. from Syracuse University’s School of Management.
