Rachel Spekman is the program director of business ventures at the Innovate@BU initiative. At BU, she manages programming for start-ups and works across the university on a variety of initiatives. She is also becoming increasingly passionate about health care, especially around fertility, pregnancy and new parent support. She has a background in education, nonprofit and marketing work and was selected as part of the Greater Boston Future Leaders Program. She holds an MBA from Simmons University, a master’s in education from Lesley University and a B.A. from Rutgers University. She is an active and involved member at Temple Israel, a volunteer at Mayyim Hayyim and is involved in a variety of initiatives in Dorchester, where she lives with her wife, son and dog.
