The Young Leadership delegation from Haifa had quite a busy by enjoyable weekend. The Haifaim spent Yom Kippur in home hospitality with their Bostonian counterparts and attended the Vilna Shul in Beacon Hill, where two members of the Young Leadership Committee participated in services: Dena Zigun read Torah and Robyn Ross blew the final shofar to signal the end of the fast.

And what better way to enjoy a September day in Boston than basking in the glory of Fenway Park. It was a perfect afternoon to catch a game, and they saw Jon Lester and the Red Sox blank the Blue Jays, 6-0 (and, of course, got a kick out of the “Sweet Caroline” sing-along).

We’ll finally get to posting some pictures and passing along some of their personal reflections and thoughts about the meetings and discussions they’ve had tomorrow.

But in the meantime, one final note: please join us tonight to welcome our young leaders from Haifa at “Grafton Street” in Harvard Square – 1280 Mass. Ave in Cambridge. We’ll be there starting around 9pm – hope to see you there
