Ilyssa Frey assumed this key role on July 1 at The Rashi School and will oversee student enrollment, marketing and communications. With more than 25 years of communications and marketing expertise.

Ms. Frey brings more than 25 years of communications and marketing expertise. She has previously held positions as director of community engagement at the Meadowbrook School of Weston, served as senior director, advancement communications at Babson College and as director of alumnae communications and marketing at Wellesley College. Additionally, she served on the board of trustees of Summit Montessori School. Ms. Frey’s selection followed an extensive search that attracted a wide range of qualified applicants and entailed interviews with faculty, staff, parents and students.

As a Rashi parent, Ilyssa has experienced our commitment to academic excellence for her own children. She deeply understands the way that the school community lives our values every day. In fact, she is a wonderful example of the warm, welcoming Rashi community. We are thrilled to have her on our leadership team.”

Frey earned a master of science in mass communication from Boston University and a bachelor of arts in art history cum laude from Tufts University. She resides in­­­ Natick with her husband and their two children.
