Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS) and Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) are offering a $1,000 grant for synagogues to create and enhance opportunities for meaningful inclusion into synagogue life for people with disabilities. Congregations will work together with a team of professionals from JF&CS to learn hands-on strategies that will allow adults and children who have often felt ‘left out’ of congregational life to feel connected to the richness of Jewish traditions that makes belonging to a synagogue a central part of Jewish life. As part of the training, synagogues (working with JF&CS) will agree to develop and implement a specific plan to accomplish their goals. For more information, contact:
