We are delighted that the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore (JCCNS) is entering into its 100th year!  Over the course of the next year the JCCNS will transform its programs and facility into a viable, sustainable resource for the community.  As part of the our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible resources, representatives of Cohen Hillel Academy, Congregation Shirat Hayam and the JCCNS are working to enhance the excellent daycare, early childhood, and day school experiences currently provided to North Shore families.

Hillel Academy, Shirat Hayam and the JCCNS are in the process of creating joint programs in all three locations that will allow the three institutions to share resources and to provide exciting and valuable activities for the area’s children and families. Some examples of opportunities we envision for the children to participate in include joint holiday and Shabbat celebrations, little buddy/big buddy reading programs with students from Hillel and shared staff development opportunities for teachers.

We are all looking forward to how these and other collaborative ventures will enhance the quality of programs and services provided to Jewish families on the North Shore.  More details will be shared as they become available.
