Last night was our Martinis and Mittens event at Bullfinches Restaurant in Sudbury. We had a great turnout. 46 attendees came with mittens and other various winter gear for the kids at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School who take part in our Reducing Achievement Gaps programs (after school programs designed to increase math and science skills and instill confidence in the third, fourth and fifth graders who take part). With everyone’s support were able to collect 102 mittens/gloves and raise money to support Wilson school field trips! If you’re looking for the secret to happiness, we think we discovered it last night: Cocktails, great food and giving back–The ingredients for a really great night.
