So, bodybuilding…. How did a nice Jewish girl get into a field like this?

My dad was my inspiration. He’s a sports medicine guy who’s always been a disciplined athlete — serious weightlifting, hiking Mount Washington, biking the Kancamagus, coaching swimmers for the English Channel, etc. He is a “Polar Bear” and distance swimmer who loves being outside in the ocean in every season — yes, even in the winter! I knew right then and there I wanted to look like that, so I began my training, with him as my coach.
