Hi Everyone,

My wife and I are native English speakers here in Boston who are raising our one-year-old daughter to be bilingual in Hebrew and English.  It’s amazing how quickly young kids pick up a new language by singing songs, listening to books, and playing with others.  As parents, we don’t have to teach them grammar.  All we have to do is play in the language.

I am building a community called Hebrew Play to help parents like you do stuff with your young children (age 6 months to 6 years) in Hebrew.  There is a vibrant community of parents like us out there.  If you are interested in connecting, finding beloved children’s songs and books from Israel, or attending Hebrew playgroups in your neighborhood, sign up at www.hebrewplay.org and join us at Congregation Kehillath Israel in Brookline on March 21 at 11am.

Thanks,

Michael Goldstein
