Frank London is an amazing trumpet player, a leader of the Klezmatics, a founding member of the Klezmer Conservatory Band, and a great Jewish musical seeker who never imagined he would, one day, be directing a music of cantorial music.

So how did this come to be? Why on earth is he creating the Divine Sparks concert at the Boston Jewish Music Festival with keyboardist Anthony Colemen and five amazing singers of Jewish music: Yaakov Lemmer (who just returned from performing with the Israel Philharmonic), Aaron Bensoussan, Jessica Kate Meyer, Elias Rosemberg and Gaston Bogomolni.

BJMF has posed a fascinating challenge to these incredible musicians: Can you transform the Berklee Performance Center into a spiritual oasis that kindles the divine sparks in all of us? How can you miss out on a concert like that?

Be there, March 12 at 8 pm at the Berklee Performance Center. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com and at the Berklee box office.

Here’s how you can save some money on two great events. If you buy tickets to the Neshama Carlebach concert on March 13, you’ll save $5 on tickets to the Divine Sparks concert. To get your Ticketmaster discount code, however, you must purchase the Neshama Carlebacxh tickets first. The code will be sent to you in your ticket confirmation email.
