The New England Board of Directors receives regular briefings on JNF’s Israeli projects and deliberates fiscal matters. Over the past decade, under the inspired leadership of Chairman of the Board Jeffrey S. Davis, JNF has funded the construction of reservoirs, new communities in the Negev, Beer Sheva River Promenade, security roads along the border of Lebanon and more. The Zone also initiated the JNF Parsons Water Fund, Green Horizons Youth Movement, the Wall of Eternal Life and Project Baseball, just to name a few.

Scott Levy, as the Office Managing Partner, is responsible for the professionals, clients and growth of Grant Thornton throughout New England. As a dedicated auditor, he is also directly involved with several audits and enjoys serving clients. Levy has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on wide-ranging business and accounting. In addition, he has successfully assisted many companies raise capital in both the public and private markets. In his role as managing partner, Levy is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality service for the clients of Grant Thornton through the audit, tax and advisory practices.

Prior to joining the Boston office, Levy served the firm as assistant managing partner of the New York Cluster, partner-in-charge of Grant Thornton’s New Jersey office, and also the New York assurance practice leader. He has been involved in the firm’s Partner Candidate Development Program and the Grant Thornton Partner Leadership Program. Throughout his career, Levy has been actively involved in many charitable organizations. Currently, he is on the Board of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, the Small Business Association of New England, Suffolk University’s Center for Innovation & Change Leadership and Junior Achievement. He also served as the Chair for the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston 2010 Annual Lawyers and Bankers Dinner, and the Chair of the Accounting Advisory Board for SUNY Albany.
