Oct. 7, 2023, will forever be one of the darkest days in Israel’s history, an unimaginable tragedy that will scar our Jewish people for generations. Amir Tibon, a senior journalist who lived in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, close to the Gaza Strip, hid for many hours with his family in his home when terrorists invaded his kibbutz, until his father, retired Maj. Gen. Noam Tibon, came on his own to rescue Amir, his wife and his two young daughters.
