Jewish National Fund hosted Jewish and Christian community leaders to welcome the new Consul General of Israel to New England, Shai Bazak and his Deputy Ronit Nudleman Pearl at a breakfast hosted by JNF New England President Lawrence Cohen of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge who shared, “We have come together today because we value and honor the important relationship between the offices of the Consul General of Israel to New England and us.  We value our friendship and partnership”.

CJP President Barry Shrage commented, “The view from here is wonderful, to see all the Jewish organizations together,” and stressed the importance of Israel to this generation of Jews.  Colonel (Res.) Sharon Davidovich, National Director, JNF-Parsons Water Fund stressed the impact the Boston community has had in creating water resources for Israel.  Consul General Bazak mused, “Americans set their mood by the morning weather report; Israelis by the level of the water in the Kinneret”. 

Zone Director Sharon Freedman shared: “We are all working together to try & make a difference; to help our brothers and sisters in Israel; to find new solutions for peace and we all strive to build bridges between Americans & Israelis.
