Teaching, as Parker Palmer says, is about “the identity and the integrity of the teacher.“ How, then, can “our Jewish habits of mind and heart” inform the way Jewish educators lead? In his ELI Talk, Marc Baker articulates his concept of “Jewishly purposeful leadership.”
To further the discussion around Jewish educational leadership, ELI Talks is sponsoring an online event to look more deeply into how to lead and educate with soul. ELI Talks repesent original and inspiring ideas to the Jewish community the explore Jewish engagement, literacy and identity.
Rabbi Marc Baker will be joined by Dr. Jon Mitzmacher, Head of the Martin J. Gottlieb Day School, to discuss the importance of not only knowing, but owning the Jewish story.
