If you are a Jewish young adult (22-40) looking to launch the next new social venture, or grow/create an innovative program within your Jewish non-profit, we want to get to know you!

Apply as an INTRAPRENEUR if you:

 

·      Are currently working for or volunteering in a Jewish non-profit and looking to innovate from within that non-profit

·      Have an idea for a new program, initiative, project, campaign that will meet at least one of CJP’s three strategic priories (engaging the Next Generation, caring and social justice, Israel and overseas)

·      Hold a position within your organization that would allow you to implement your venture (or know someone else who can implement on your behalf) following completion of CJP’s PresenTense Boston Fellowship

·      Are looking for extra support (time, connections, skill-building professional development workshops) to turn your idea into reality


Apply as an ENTREPRENEUR if you:

·      Have an idea for a new program, initiative, project, campaign that will solve a problem in Jewish Boston or connect people in a new way

·      Have an idea for that will meet at least one of CJP’s three strategic priorities (engaging the Next Generation, caring and social justice, Israel and overseas)

·      Are looking for extra support (time, connections, skill-building professional development workshops) to turn your idea into reality


In a 5-month Fellowship, we’ll provide:

·      Skill-building seminars to help you turn your envisioned project into a viable business plan

·      Case study workshops with local experts

·      Guidance  from the best mentors Jewish Boston has to offer

·      Personal introductions to community leaders who can provide you with connections, ideas, and financial support

·      A network of Jewish social entrepreneurs just like you in Boston and around the world for support, encouragement and feedback


Applicants should be:

·      Between the ages of 22 and 40

·      Self-identified as Jewish

·      Based in the Greater Boston area

·      Committed to pursuing an idea that will engage, leverage, and inspire Boston’s Jewish community

·      Interested in learning valuable tools and making important connections that will help you impact the world through sustainable venture

·      Interested in developing a culture of innovation for the Boston Jewish community

·      Willing and able to participate fully in all components of the program, from January 10 – May 27, 2011
