Kerem Shalom of Concord is thrilled to welcome LilyFish Gomberg as our new Director of Congregational Learning—and there’s no better time to join our community of learners. Registration for Hebrew School Reimagined 2026-2027 is now open.
LilyFish brings deep roots and fresh energy to the role. A Newton native who grew up at Congregation Dorshei Tzedek, she holds a BA from Brandeis University, is working toward a master’s in Jewish education from Hebrew College, and she returns to Massachusetts eager “to partner with the Kerem Shalom community to build a warm, thoughtful, and intergenerational culture of Jewish learning.” That vision is exactly what Hebrew School Reimagined is built on.
Programs are available for a wide range of ages and needs: holiday programming for preschool and kindergarten (no membership required), Hebrew school for grades 1–6, and cohort-based learning for seventh grade. The curriculum emphasizes active, experiential, and individualized learning—grounded in Kerem Shalom’s core values of kehillah (community), simchah (joy), and k’vod ha-b’riyot (respect for the dignity of every person). Students build a foundation in Jewish tradition while developing a personal sense of identity and belonging.
Registration is committed to keeping costs affordable for all families. To learn more or sign up for the fall, contact learning@keremshalom.org or 978-371-0540, or visit keremshalom.org/learning.
Kerem Shalom, located at 659 Elm St. in Concord, is a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming Jewish community where tradition and innovation are celebrated.
