Grace Altman is a senior at Needham High School. She enjoys spending time with her dog and doing all different types of art. She is a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Needham and spent two semesters in Israel at URJ Heller High. A guilty pleasure of Grace is her love for all popsicles.
Nathan Barry is a senior at Newburyport High School, where he runs cross-country and track, is a member of the Sailbot program and an officer for the National Honor Society. Nathan enjoys photography, studying rockets and is a member of Congregation Ahavas Achim in Newburyport.
Sylvia Cevallos is a senior at Boston Latin School, where she is the captain of the varsity basketball team and is president of BLS PRIMA, a club for first- and second-generation immigrants. She enjoys playing basketball, going to the beach and traveling. Sylvia is a member of Temple Israel of Boston, where she enjoys working as a madricha (teaching assistant) and spends her summers at URJ Crane Lake Camp.
Jessica Deitel is a senior at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, where she is involved in event planning and fundraising for the class of 2022. Jessica has been dancing since she was 3 years old and spends her summers at Camp Tel Noar. She enjoys spending time with her friends and working with kids.
James Dicker is a sophomore at Swampscott High School. He plays soccer, skis and is an assistant instructor in martial arts. James is a member and madrich (teacher’s assistant) at Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead and he plays the drums and guitar.
Judy Dicker is a senior at Swampscott High School. She is captain of her high school swim team, a lifeguard and a swim instructor. She enjoys spending time with her friends, listening to music and traveling. Judy is a member of Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead and BBYO and her favorite shows are “Gossip Girl,” “Friends” and “Skins UK.”
Zoë Gray is a junior at Lexington High School. She is a competitive figure skater who also helps facilitate drug prevention trainings for younger students. Zoë is a member of Temple Shir Tikvah in Winchester and she loves dogs.
Hannah Gross is a junior at Newburyport High School, where she runs cross-country and plays ice hockey and tennis. She is a member of Congregation Ahavas Achim in Newburyport. She loves to spend time with friends and family.
Dylan Kerble is a senior at Marblehead High School, where she is part of the softball and volleyball team. She is a member of Temple Emanuel in Marblehead. Dylan spends her summers working at the Kindercamp at the JCC and loves to spend time with little kids. She also enjoys art, baking and being outdoors.
Casey Killeen is a sophomore at Marblehead High School, where she is involved with Team Harmony. Casey enjoys soccer, baking and hanging out with friends. She is a member of Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead.
Carly LaKind is a junior at Swampscott High School. She enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with friends. Carly spends her summers at Camp Tevya and loves the beach and nature.
Phoebe Mabuchi is a junior at Gann Academy, where she is involved in Body Positivity Club and writes for the school newspaper. Phoebe enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with her friends and reading. She is a Gateways volunteer and loves to spend time with her dog.
Nora Mabuchi is a senior at Gann Academy, where she is involved in the dance company and volleyball and is the leader of the Body Positivity Club. Nora is a member of Temple Emunah in Lexington and part of JF&CS Teensafe. Nora loves to spend time outside during the summer and works at a local ice cream shop.
Sarah Marmor is a junior at the Advanced Math and Science Academy, where she is involved in French National Honor Society, student council and enjoys playing varsity hockey for Algonquin Regional High School. Sarah is a member of Beth Tikvah Synagogue, spends her summers at Camp Young Judaea and has a 72-pound puppy named Oakley.
Hailey Oberlander is a junior at Marblehead High School, where she is involved in Interact Club, Marblehead Community Outreach Club and National Green School Society. Hailey enjoys playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and cooking. She is a member of Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead and has spent most of her summers at URJ Eisner Camp.
Annie Overbaugh is a senior at Swampscott High School, where she is involved in student council. Annie enjoys reading, painting and spending time with friends. She is a member of Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead and BBYO. She works in the JCC’s early childhood program during the school year and is a camp counselor at its Kindercamp during the summer.
Bella Rosenzweig is a sophomore at Gann Academy, where she is a member of the Body Positivity Club and is an ambassador. She enjoys being with her friends, working out and baking. Bella is extremely passionate about civil rights and helping de-stigmatize mental health.
Carly Segal is a senior at Pingree School, where she is involved in the Jewish Student Union and Women Empowered clubs and is a peer tutor. Carly enjoys reading and embroidery, is a camp counselor over the summer and is a member of Temple Emanuel of Andover, where she serves on the board of its youth group, TEMTY.
Jackson Selby is a junior at St. John’s Prep, where he is involved in Mock Trial Club and enjoys soccer, golf, archery, carpentry and classical piano. Jackson is a member of the Shirat Hayam community and has pet chickens.
Talia Selby is a sophomore at Marblehead High School, where she plays basketball. She is an avid soccer player and plays for multiple teams on the North Shore. She also enjoys hanging out with friends and family. Talia belongs to Shirat Hayam in Swampscott and, on summers days, you’ll find her at the ocean either paddle-boarding, kayaking or playing spike ball at the beach.
Owen Torstensson is a sophomore at Marblehead High School, where he is on the swim team. He is also involved with the swim team at the JCCNS and spends his summers at URJ Eisner Camp, where he enjoys ultimate frisbee, playing card games and spending time with his friends at the gaga pit. He is a member of Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead. Owen has been homeschooled his whole life and is looking forward to many new experiences this year.
Rebecca Vaynshteyn is a sophomore at Marblehead High School, where she is on the swim team. She is a member of Temple B’nai Abraham in Beverly and spends her summers at Camp Tevya. She also enjoys playing the piano and skiing in the winter.
Lila Wolf-Wagner is a sophomore at Framingham High School, where she is involved with the Astronomy Club. Lila enjoys reading, creative writing, swimming, art projects and editing photos. She is a member of Temple Beth Am in Framingham and works as a madricha (teaching assistant) during the school year.
Benjy Wolf-Wagner is a senior at Framingham High School, where he is a three-season athlete for the school’s soccer and indoor/outdoor track teams. He is a member of Temple Beth Am in Framingham, where he tutors younger students. Benjy also volunteers with Jewish Family Service of Metrowest at the local clothing closet. His favorite thing to do in his free time is to get outside and enjoy the nature around him, preferably with friends.
