The eighth annual seasonal pop-up Maccabee Bar (not kosher) at Harvard Square’s Noir Bar runs through Dec. 31. Pair your latkes with unusual drinks like the sufganiyot-inspired Hebrew Hammer (vodka, “leavened” sugar, raspberry, lemon), as well as brand-new concoctions such as the Moroccan tropical Marrakitsch (rum, sweet potato, cinnamon, wheat berry orgeat, lime). Mamaleh’s has four convenient locations—Boston, Brookline, Cambridge and Somerville—and they also offer suburban drop-offs, all featuring standout latkes (not kosher). A Hanukkah menu includes gluten-friendly hot potato latkes or fry-at-home mix, plus plenty of holiday merch, like dreidels and gelt.

As usual, Brookline staple Michael’s Deli (not kosher) offers a vast Hanukkah pickup or delivery menu (order by Dec. 7): They’ve got cocktail potato latkes, plus knishes, cheese blintzes, matzo ball soup and chopped liver.
