Keep up with the weekly parsha with Rabbi Ravid Tilles! After the final plague, B’nai Yisrael is ready to start their journey to Eretz Yisrael but have one final hurdle to overcome. God commands Moshe to bring B’nai Yisrael “the long way,” which means that they are stopped by the massive Yam Suf (Sea of Reeds). Meanwhile, Pharaoh leads his entire army to chase the Israelites to recapture them, which brings about two extraordinary miracles including the splitting of the sea. By the end, B’nai Yisrael fully has the Egyptians in their rear-view mirror.
