Tomorrow night, we will read in the Passover Haggadah four of the most well-known words in our tradition, “Next year in Jerusalem.” These are words of inspiration, hope, and resilience, which we need now more than ever.
In the face of this crisis, look what we have already accomplished together:
- As of today, nearly 1,100 community members have contributed more than $1.3 million to the Coronavirus Emergency Fund
- We distributed more than 2,700 free Seders-in-a-Box to community members, many of whom will be making seder alone, and for the first time; and 2,200 prepared meals to community members in need of Passover food
- We delivered 30,000 protective masks to local institutions serving the elderly, thanks to our partners in Israel

I have boundless gratitude for the tireless, selfless efforts of thousands of people on the front lines of health care, social work, and food production and distribution, as well as the leaders across our community, our partner organizations, volunteers, and so many of you who have been stepping up in so many ways.
