Ahavath Torah Congregation’s religious school offers children the opportunity to read and understand Hebrew, explore Jewish holidays, learn Jewish history, engage with hands-on crafts, and discover their long and enduring heritage. This year’s classes will be a combination of virtual and in-person classes, with virtual classes during the week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. All classes will meet in person on Sunday at Ahavath Torah Congregation in Stoughton, including grades kindergarten through second.
Students learn to decode Hebrew words, use Hebrew as a spoken language, and develop fluency in the Hebrew reading of words. Children develop a Jewish identity, focusing on Jewish liturgy. Older students will be preparing for their bar or bat mitzvah.
Religious school tuition is included with synagogue membership. Please inquire about rates for non-members.
