We’d like to pass along Shana Tova wishes to the entire Boston community from Rabbi Dr. Edgar Nof, of Congregation Or Hadash in Haifa:

As the Jewish year 5771 approaches, the Or Hadash family would like to wish you a Happy New Year, and Chatima Tova! May you and all your loved ones be written into the Book of Life for another year. We would like to take the opportunity to thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for all the friendship, help and support you have shown us over the years.

I do believe it is important that the voice of Reform Judaism in general and Or Hadash in particular, should be heard in Israel. We appreciate your support helping us to do God’s work in our modern and sovereign state.

By ourselves, we are merely a community with dreams of helping those around us, longing to change the world in the spirit of Tikun Olam. With your help, support, and friendship, we are able to make those dreams come true, while at the same time welcoming new and old friends into our hearts and community.

Let 5771 be a better world for all of us, full of love and understanding.

Wishing you and your family Shana Tova, a Good Year!

In Friendship and Appreciation,

Rabbi Dr. Edgar Nof
