Hanukkah is just around the corner, and with your help, Yad Chessed will deliver hundreds of Shabbat meals to people in our community who are struggling with economic hardship and isolation.

You can bring warmth and light to our community by sponsoring a meal. Providing a delicious, full-course kosher meal is one of the most direct ways to say to one another, “You are not forgotten, you are part of our family, you are not alone.”

As one of our recipients shared last Hanukkah, “The feeling of being included and remembered has stayed with me. Thank you.”

  • A gift of $18 sponsors a main course for one
  • A gift of $36 sponsors one complete meal
  • A gift of $50 sponsors two complete meals
  • A gift of $100 sponsors a Shabbat meal for a family of four

Yad Chessed serves as a safety net for Jewish individuals and families who struggle with financial hardship. As a small social services agency rooted in the Jewish values of kindness (chessed) and charity (tzedakah), we are committed to helping those in need navigate a path toward financial stability while preserving their privacy and dignity.
