Israeli food is so much more than hummus and falafel. The melting pot of diverse cuisines—Moroccan, Yemenite, French, Russian, Iraqi, Ethiopian and many others—has created the modern Israeli culinary landscape that is so popular today. We are creating Taste of Israel, Boston’s first Israeli restaurant week, as an opportunity for Boston-area diners to enjoy a taste of Israel without the airfare.
Boston-area Israeli chefs will be collaborating with local restaurants to create special additions to their menus for the week of Feb. 24 to March 2. These special items will be featured at the restaurants of both chefs.
Restaurants:
- Area Four and Cafe Landwer
- Mamaleh’s and Galit’s Treats
- Central and Bonapita
- Craigie On Main and Chef Michael Leviton
- The Chubby Chickpea
- Liora’s Catering
