Tevel B’Tzedek ― a new non-profit organization for social and environmental justice invites intellectually curious, socially engaged, adventurous and enterprising volunteers to a four month program in Nepal:


The volunteer programs in Nepal and Haiti combine learning with service.
Volunteering takes place in local communities in the fields of youth and education, agriculture, women’s empowerment & health, in cooperation with local organizations.
Studies include lectures and discussions on the Jewish social justice tradition, globalization, economics, poverty, development, the environment & Nepali culture and society.  

 

 

Program in Nepal Includes:

  • Volunteering & studies in Kathmandu and rural areas
  • Nepali language course
  • Study of Nepal’s history, culture & society


The program is open for people aged 20-120, experience in the fields of youth, education, agriculture, public health, and community social work is welcome.

Graduates of the program are invited to join the Tevel b’Tzedek alumni community, continuing their shared enrichment and activity in Israel and the Diaspora.
