The Governing Board and staff of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston thank our members, partners, friends, and especially the Newton Police Department, for their support of our organization and campus during the April 6 visit to our area by members of the Westboro Baptist Church.
By conducting ourselves with dignity and integrity, we were able to minimize the effect of the demonstration and to go about the business of serving our valued community. We appreciate the calls, emails and other gestures of concern and solidarity.
