Last week, we all felt the power of commemorating Yom HaShoah alongside the 14 active duty Israeli Defense Forces officers who were part of the Boston-Haifa Connection’s Hatikvah Soldiers Mission, to be able to say with them “Never Forget, Never Again.” Today, as we celebrate Israel’s 63rd Independence Day, our friends have all returned to Israel and are taking part in the festivities all around the country.
Here’s what Tomer, one of the Hatikvah Mission participants has planned for the day, another example of how Israelis continue to inspire us all.
