This Thursday night, Sept 15, the amazing Galeet Dardasht will be presenting Monajat, a recent commission from the Foundation of Jewish Culture. The concert is a multi-ethnic, multi-media presentation featuring a small ensemble of renowned Middle Eastern musicians. Which is so fitting since the piece is all about forgiveness and the customs and poetry Jewish Persians shared with their neighbors.

Galeet has just posted a brief video of an early rehearsal. So enjoy.

Come to the Granoff Music Center at Tufts for an incredible event in one of the finest acoustic spaces in Boston. Presented by the Boston Jewish Msuic Festival, New Center for Art and Culture, Tufts Music Dept., and Tufts Hillel. Tickets are $25 at bostonjewishmusicfestival.org.
