Yep, it’s almost Thanksgiving, but over here at JewishBoston, we’re already dreaming of Hanukkah delicacies. Personally, I’m craving chopped liver. (Sadly, I am not a turkey fan.) Here are several spots offering sweets, treats and tipples for your holiday table. Missed your favorite? Let us know!

Sweets

If you’re not full of pie, head to Kane’s Donuts for its version of deep-fried, delicious sufganiyot, stuffed with black raspberry jam, sprinkled with powdered sugar and dolloped with raspberry on top. Preorder online and visit for in-store pickup at Kane’s Rt. 1 location (1575 Broadway, Saugus) from Nov. 28 to Dec. 6. Order by the dozen for your hungry fam or stop into the store for singletons.

The Full Spread

No surprise that Mamaleh’s brings the holiday treats with a full Hanukkah menu available for pickup and delivery starting Sunday, Nov. 28. Order latkes (hot or cold), matzah ball soup, braised brisket, chocolate-tahini or raspberry sufganiyot—and even goodies like dreidels and Hanukkah wrapping paper.

Healthy

Veggie-forward Clover Food Lab reintroduces its popular Hanukkah meal boxes with five different sizes, depending on your feasting needs and budget: Try sweet potato latkes, apple sauce, butternut squash kugel and white bean salad, pistachio halva and much more. Add a bottle of kosher red or white wine from Tzora Vineyards.

The Classics

For a more traditional spread, preorder delicacies from Brookline staple Michael’s Deli, which serves chopped liver, brisket knishes, noodle kugel and must-try blueberry blintzes for pickup or even delivery, if you’re already too overstuffed to leave the couch.

Inna’s Kitchen also offers chopped liver (frozen to ensure availability), plus a make-at-home shakalatke kit (shakshuka sauce, hot sauce, latkes), vegan and traditional latkes by the dozen, and an assortment of frozen soups and stews.

A Night on the Town

If you’re craving an evening out after too much togetherness on Thanksgiving, head to Stillwater (120 Kingston St., Boston) for its eight nights of latkes, with unusual spins on the classic fried treat: horseradish cheddar with cherry pepper relish, sweet potato with pulled pork and citrus cream, root veggies with hot honey and cacio e pepe with cream reduction. Visit any time after 4 p.m. throughout Hanukkah.

Bottom’s Up

Or visit Bow Market’s Maccabee Bar (1 Bow Market, Somerville), kicking off Nov. 29 and running through Dec. 12, with themed treats from its diverse array of food vendors. Enjoy Saus latkes, Buenas empanadas (Hanukkah-themed, of course), house-cured lox from Hooked paired with signature drinks from bartender Naomi Levy, such as the latke sour, which is way more appetizing than it sounds, made with apple brandy. The market’s many retail shops will have Hanukkah gifts for sale, too.

Delicious and Decorative

And for something truly unusual, head to downtown Boston’s new Bakey (151 Tremont St.), where dough wizard Uri Scheft creates handcrafted challah with unique dipping-bowl centerpieces in the middle, so your guests can snack on their favorite spread: choose from egg salad, tahini, feta and more.
