America and Zion: The Jews of the United States and Israel

This 10 session course covers the history of both communities and the ways they have looked at each other and influenced one another. We also consider the advantages and disadvantages of Jewish nationalism and a sovereign Jewish state, and the integration of a diasporic Jewry that lives in the world’s only true superpower.
