Melaveh Malkah, literally translated to “Escorting The Queen”, is the Hebrew term for the transitional moment from the experience and prominence of our “Shabbat Queen” into the weekday. In the spirit of this tradition, Jacob’s Ladder leads the community in one final soul clinging musical gathering as we say goodbye to Shabbat with a familiar kavannah (intention) reminiscent of its grand welcoming.
