This season I am proud to feature a personal favorite as our selection for younger readers, Stranger in the Woods by Carl R. Sams II and Jean Stoick.  This unique book of photographs tells the story of a snow creation and the frenzy that swirls around it. With a combination of wildlife photography and a hint of fantasy, young readers will follow blue jays, chickadees, deer, owl, squirrels and other animals as they quizzically explore a guest among them.
