Ah, Sukkot…of all the Jewish holidays, it’s one of the most fun and festive and, with sukkah construction and decorating, probably the most artsy. Explore your creative side and get in touch with nature with these autumnal art projects. Any of these crafts will aid in decorating your sukkah or freshening up your interior décor. And they’re fun, of course!

Nature Art

What better way to connect with the earth than being inspired by it? Grab acorns, twigs, bark, leaves, etc., and create something new. Hang them in the sukkah with twigs and twine for extra points.

Paper Flowers

Mimic the gorgeous flower glass ceiling of the Bellagio! The installation was created in 1998 by the amazing Dale Chihuly. “Flori di Como” is made of approximately 2,000 pieces of handblown glass and took two years to complete. Lucky for you, you can mimic this masterpiece for your sukkah roof with a pack of multicolored tissue paper in less than an hour. Kind of.
