Rabbi Gouze comes with a wealth of experience, having previously served as the Rabbi of Congregation Shaare Tefilah in Norwood, Massachusetts.

Additionally, she has served as Judaic Studies Coordinator and teacher at the Jewish Community Day School of Rhode Island in Providence, as Director of Pastoral Care at the Miriam Hospital, Providence, and the Judaic Studies and Middle School Coordinator at Alperin Shechter Day School in Providence. Currently she is the Jewish Chaplain at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton and will continue in this position during her tenure at Temple Beth Emunah.

While at Congregation Shaare Tefilah Rabbi Gouze initiated a monthly family education program, a participatory Torah learning session during Shabbat morning services, and developed and implemented contemporary holiday services.

Looking forward to her time at Temple Beth Emunah, Rabbi Gouze hopes to instill in the congregation a strong spirit of community, learning, and religious awakening.
