On December 7th we held our annual Young Families Hanukkah Party. The 38 families that came had a blast making crafts with the elders at Heritage Assisted Living in Framingham (our wonderful hosts). The kids made holiday cards, decorated tzedakah boxes and sang and played games with the magical Elaine Kessler of Music & Imagination.
What’s more, we received so many donations of toys and board games for families in need in the community—3 huge bags full! Who needs reindeer to deliver presents when you have a car trunk?? In addition to everyone’s generosity at the Hanukkah party, the preschool families at Temple Israel in Natick donated a whole bunch of toys as well. Check out our photos!:
