Lian Najami is an inspiring young adult from Haifa who became the first Arab-Israeli to be offered a Rhodes Scholarship. Lian is a disability activist and was featured in Forbes “30 Under 30” in 2016. Fluent in five languages (Hebrew, Arabic, English, German and Spanish), Lian graduated from the University of Haifa in 2016 and interned in the United States for Sen. Brian Schatz, a Democrat from Hawaii. JewishBoston and israel360 were thrilled to have her speak about her life, activism and what Arab-Jewish coexistence in Israel means to her.
