Are you interested in teaching English to newly arrived refugees in preparation for finding employment in the US?
Assist newly arrived refugees with English instruction including job readiness activities. Activities may include teaching basic English skills, how to conduct a job search, how to navigate the work place, interview practice, on-line job applications, basic computer skills, and customer service skills.
Requirements: Patience, flexibility, willingness to learn how to effectively assist limited English speakers. Training will be “on the job.”
