Help our clients improve their English skills to help them find and keep employment. JVS is looking for classroom aides to support the teacher in a Level 1 ESOL class in Hyde Park. Level 1 students progress at different rates, so volunteers will work with struggling students during classtime. The Instructor will support the volunteer by providing activities to work on.
Requirements: Sensitivity to the needs of immigrants and awareness of the skills required to converse with non-English speakers.
Details: Tues, Wed, or Fri 10am-1pm, Hyde Park Library
