JVS' Workplace Education program is looking for a volunteer tutor to help an adult student improve her math skills in preparation for the College Placement Test. She is currently an employee of Faulkner Hospital and is pursuing an AS in Business Admin/Accounting at Bunker Hill Community College.

Requirements: A strong foundation and understanding of the basic high school math curriculum (algebra 1 and 2, some background in pre-calculus and calculus). Student has some materials, otherwise tutoring will be largely self-directed.

Early weekday afternoons. 2-4 hours per week.

Roslindale Public Library is the ideal meeting place for this student.
