Join Congregation Beth Elohim on Friday Sept. 9th at 7:30p.m. at our first Shabbat of the school year.
Geared especially toward children in grades one through five, yet designed to be welcoming for adults and children. Family Shabbat services feature opportunities for participation, uplifting and lively new melodies mixed in with  familiar tunes, and instrumental accompaniment.  Each month, children and families together and have the opportunity to come up to the bima to lead a prayer, blessing or song in the service. This is a fun way for children (and parents!) to learn and to feel the special sense of joy and pride that comes with leading a community in prayer. Rabbi Mintz, Cantor Spierer and Leann Shamash will be providing assistance and support for those children and families who would like to help lead.

Family Shabbat services, led by Rabbi Mintz and Cantor Spierer, take place on the first Friday of each month, from 7:15-8:00 P.M., followed by a special Oneg Shabbat.

Congregation Beth Elohim is committed to creating an open and welcoming environment for Jews of all ages and varying degrees of religious observance.  Our synagogue is located at 133 Prospect St. in Acton.  For further information, visit us on the web at www.bethelohim.org or call (978)263-3061.
