The World Jewish Congress is holding an event to detail the recently published United Nations action plan against antisemitism. The event is jointly sponsored with the missions of Israel and Sweden and the U.N. in Geneva.
Dr. Ahmed Shaheed, a U.N. special rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief, compiled a report that urges governments to apply the definition of antisemitism from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance as a non-legally-binding educational and training tool for officials from across the law enforcement spectrum and from national human rights organizations.
